Who Are We?

Baptist Youth Ministries exists to support and resources the Youth and Young Adult Ministries of Baptist Churches in NSW and ACT. We do this through connecting with pastors and leaders, facilitating networks of practice, and proving collaborative experiences and training.

The NSW & ACT Baptist Association is a movement of more than 340 congregations committed to voluntarily serving together with a common purpose, values, vision and goal. More than 43,000 people make up the Baptist family across the state and the nation’s capital. The Baptist movement of churches is the largest Protestant movement in the world.

By working together our movement of churches inspires greater accountability of ministry leaders, harnesses a greater potential to impact the world around us and provides a more professional and influential response to key issues that affect Baptist churches and our community.

This combined expression also allows for support and development services to be accessed by all member churches, church leaders and attendees. Our belief is that we can have a greater positive impact on the world around us when we partner together.

Connect 2023

Connect 2023 is all about connecting people involved in kids, youth, families, young adults and SRE ministries to encourage, share stories and shape vision for our local contexts.  Connect is about providing a space to gather with other churches and ministries in your local region, enabling you to partner and collaborate together so that everyone is equipped.  This is a leadership development opportunity that will help you grow personally and in your ministry skills.  Our heart is that our faith communities would welcome all ages – especially children and youth – as fellow disciples, and that all generations would be connected.

What will your impact be?

IMPACT is a set of initiatives crafted by the NSW Baptist Youth Ministries (BYM) team.

Its aim is to help shape your ongoing development as a follower of Jesus, connecting you with others who share your passion and desire to join in with what God is doing in the world, so that you will be spurred on in your faith and ministry.

Impact is a partnership between Morling College and the Baptist Association of NSW & ACT.

What is State Youth Camp?

Described as a camp within a camp, SYC is designed so that Youth Pastors & Youth Leaders can spend maximum time with their Youth Groups, and don’t have to concern themselves with the details of duties such as organising Catering, Activities, Workshops, Program etc. that come from organising their own own Youth Camp.

SYC brings youth groups together for an amazing shared experience with God, with 3 nights of camping, activities, worship, prayer, teaching and relationship building!

Revive Youth Nights

The aim of our Revive youth nights is to connect and encourage our youth ministries through teaching, worship and story. It’s a time to celebrate what’s happening around NSW/ACT as well as providing a tremendous platform for youth pastors and leaders to serve our wider movement of churches. By serving together we can reach over 2,000 young people with the message of Christ!
